Description

Virtually all Schwann cells and ganglionic satellite cells of peripheral nerves must show a moderate to strong, cytoplasmic and nuclear staining reaction.

The majority of follicular dendritic cells must show a weak to moderate, cytoplasmic and nuclear staining reaction (only seen for pAbs crossreacting with S100 Alpha).

No reliable low expression tissue/cells have been identified for S100 antibodies only reacting with the S100 Beta chain. Lipocytes might be used but at present not confirmed.

No staining reaction in epithelial cells in the epithelial mucosa.
